Noting their outstanding campaigns in providing initiatives to create a healthier environment for society, three local companies aced the 59th Anvil Awards.

On January 31, the dubbed “Oscars” of the Philippine PR industry, the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), conducted its ‘Gabi ng Parangal’ to spotlight the programs and initiatives that were implemented by different businesses, agencies, and even schools.

Among these winners were STI, Nestle Philippines, and the SM Foundation, which were awarded because of their life-changing campaigns and initiatives for society.

With their campaign “Destination: A Career Guide for Incoming Senior High and College Students,” STI College bagged the Silver Anvil Award under the PR Tools Publication for taking the initiative to provide a career path guide to students, delivering the message of letting the youth have a vision for their future and build a better generation for them.

On the other hand, Nestle Philippines has initiated the “Harnessing the Power of Partnerships in Shaping a Waste-Free Future” campaign, which was initiated to promote proper waste management and encourage individuals to promote sustainability within the community. With this campaign, the company was able to clinch the Gold Anvil Award under Best Use of Partnerships.

The SM Foundation was also given recognition under the PR Tool categories of Publication and Multimedia with the campaign “SM Foundation Social Good Report: Sharing Stories and Rallying Partners for Social Good / PR Tools.” The said campaign has shown continuous support of the company to promote social good to its stakeholders.

PRSP’s 59th Anvil Awards has recognized a total of 179 entries, of which 28 were awarded with Gold Anvil Awards and 151 with Silver Anvil Awards during the recent Gabi ng Parangal.
