SIMPOL, the culinary platform led by Chef Tatung Sarthou, was honored with the Top Division Award for Communication Management at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, held on August 27, 2026, at Solaire Resort, Parañaque City.
The award was given for “PINAG-UUSAPAN: Earning National Media Coverage and Third-Party Credibility for Filipino Cuisine,” a program credited jointly to PAGEONE, Advocacy Partners Asia, and simpol.ph. The entry was recognized for its media relations work and its use of third-party credibility to build national attention around Filipino cuisine.

This marks the second consecutive year SIMPOL has been recognized at the Quill Awards. At the 21st Philippine Quill Awards, the platform won for “Gulay vs. Goolai: Educating Homemakers About Alternative Sources of Nutrition,” a campaign developed with PAGEONE that launched in 2022 during a period of rising food prices. The campaign offered homemakers practical ways to stretch household budgets while keeping meals healthy and nutritious.
SIMPOLl’s partner agency PAGEONE also had a strong showing at the 22nd Quill Awards. The agency was named 2026 Agency of the Year and separately received a Top Division Award for Communication Research, together with Advocacy Partners Asia, for “The Infrastructure of Legitimacy: A Definitive National Study Reframing Reputation as Measurable Capital.”
In total, SIMPOL brought home 16 awards at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards: 1 Top Award, 7 Awards of Excellence, and 8 Awards of Merit.

For Simpol, the back-to-back recognition underscores a consistent thread running through its work: using food as an accessible entry point to reach Filipino homemakers with practical, culturally grounded messaging, and building on that foundation to earn broader national visibility for Filipino cuisine.
