Fresh from its international wins at MAD STARS, Lennon Group continues its rapid rise on the creative stage, taking home the Grand Kidlat for Most Creative Marketing Stunt at the 2026 Kidlat Awards for “Some Nights I Feel Like Doing a Grindr Movie Tour,” created in partnership with entertainment marketing agency Lunchbox for Petersen Vargas’ acclaimed film Some Nights I Feel Like Walking.

The campaign also earned Gold for Most Creative Marketing Stunt, Silver for Most Creative Influencer & Endorsement Marketing, and Bronze for Most Creative Promo, along with four finalists across categories, making it one of the most recognised entertainment marketing campaigns of the year.

Built around the film’s themes of queer desire in the margins, the campaign rejected the conventions of mainstream movie promotion. Instead of relying on traditional mall tours and celebrity appearances, the team created a deeply immersive community experience: a tweet that sparked curiosity that led to an unconventional movie tour conducted through Grindr and ended in a premiere at Isetann Recto with decades of history of queer desire, that transported guests into the world of the film itself.

The result was not just marketing, but participation. Audiences became part of the story, blurring the line between promotion and lived experience.
For Lennon Group, the win reflects the agency’s belief that the strongest ideas emerge when creativity starts with people. Since its founding, the independent creative company has championed its HumanKind Creativity philosophy, creating work that sits at the intersection of humanity, creativity, and technology.
“We believe creativity is most powerful when it creates human connection,” said Raymund Sison, Founder, CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Lennon Group. “HumanKind Creativity is about using culture, technology, and storytelling not to interrupt people, but to bring them closer together. This campaign succeeded because it didn’t ask a community to come to the film. Instead, it met people where they already were and invited them to become part of the story.”
Created in collaboration with Lunchbox, the campaign demonstrates how film marketing can move beyond awareness-building and become a meaningful cultural experience. By embracing platforms, spaces, and communities that authentically reflected the film’s audience, the work showed how creative bravery can generate both participation and impact.
“Here’s to more campaigns that bring Filipinos together and make them want to come back to the cinemas again,” says Carl Chavez, Founder of Lunchbox and Marketing Director for the film Some Nights I Feel Like Walking.
The Grand Kidlat adds to a growing list of accolades for Lennon Group and Lunchbox and signals another milestone in a breakthrough year for the agency. Together with its recent MAD STARS recognition, the win reinforces the agency’s ambition to build ideas that are distinctly human, culturally resonant, and impossible to ignore.

For Lennon Group and Lunchbox, “Some Nights I Feel Like Doing a Grindr Movie Tour” stands as proof that when creativity is rooted in real people and real communities, even the most unconventional ideas can become the most powerful.
