Jenny Ringland, a former journalist with New Corp and founder of the influential Green + Simple platform, has launched G+S Communications. This new agency is dedicated to guiding businesses through the complexities of sustainability and net zero goals.

With nearly two decades of experience in media and a robust background in sustainability, Ringland brings a wealth of expertise to her new venture. G+S Communications will offer various services including corporate communications, public relations, greenwashing risk assessment, climate reporting, and content creation.

Ringland emphasizes the growing need for expert advice in climate communication. “What we know is that regulation relating to climate is coming. We also know that communicating complex topics requires strategic thinking and a skillset to distil technical information simply and accurately, which is what we specialize in,” she said.

“What we are doing is meeting every business where they are. There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to climate, and the same goes for communications. It’s a journey that is nuanced and individualized, and as soon as we can recognize that, the sooner we can work together to transition to a net zero, nature-resilient tomorrow,” she added.

In addition to her new role, Ringland serves on the board of Trampoline and the advisory board of the Environmental Music Prize, further underscoring her commitment to impactful sustainability efforts.
