Superpower Communications, a newly launched agency in New Zealand, is set to redefine the communications landscape with its unique blend of traditional PR services and a groundbreaking focus on neuroinclusivity. Founded by industry veterans Sarah McMahon and Penelope Thompson, the agency offers a wide range of strategic communications services, coupled with specialized consultancy in neuroinclusion.

In addition to its core PR and communications offerings, Superpower Communications provides comprehensive neuroinclusivity consultancy services. These include team education and training on neuroinclusion, policy advisory for neuroinclusive practices, and the development of frameworks for annual reviews that align with neuroinclusive principles. The agency’s goal is to help organizations foster a more inclusive work environment that accommodates diverse neurological perspectives.

Both Sarah and Penelope bring extensive experience to the venture. Sarah has held key roles across various industries, including the healthcare sector, where she worked with organizations such as Auckland District Health Board and Roche. Penelope, who previously served as Director of Group Communications at Māia, has also contributed her expertise to Grace PR and Acumen Republic.

The launch of Superpower Communications follows Penelope’s establishment of PT & Sons in 2022, a corporate and issues management agency where she and Sarah continue to serve as Co-Directors. Through their combined expertise and innovative approach, Superpower Communications aims to set a new standard for inclusivity and strategic communication in New Zealand.
