The prestigious Shorty Impact Awards, celebrating the best purpose-driven work on social media and digital, is back for its 8th edition, inviting organizations and individuals to submit their entries. Joining the esteemed list of previous winners, which includes renowned names such as Walgreens, Girl Scouts, Pinterest, PepsiCo, UNICEF, 72andSunny, Edelman, HBO, and many more. This year’s awards promise to be an exceptional showcase of exceptional achievements.

The Shorty Awards recognize and honor winners and honorees in various categories, including Finalists, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Honorees. These outstanding accolades are determined by the esteemed Real Time Academy, whose decisions are based on three essential criteria: purpose/impact, creativity, strategy & execution, and engagement. Participants are encouraged to explore the judging section to gain in-depth insights into the evaluation process and criteria.

To be considered for recognition as Finalists, winners, or honorees, entries must achieve a minimum score. This ensures that only the most outstanding contributions are acknowledged. In the event that entries in a particular category fail to meet the minimum score, no distinctions will be awarded for that category.

Furthermore, the Shorty Awards presents a special honor, the Audience Honor, to the entry that receives the highest number of public votes. This prestigious distinction is determined solely by public voting and provides an opportunity for all finalists to compete for the top spot. Finalists can rally their fans and supporters to vote for their entries, vying for the coveted Audience Honor.

It is important to note that the Audience Honor is a separate distinction and will not affect the selection process for winners and honorees, which is the sole responsibility of the esteemed Academy members.

To participate in this year’s Shorty Impact Awards, interested parties are encouraged to submit their entries before the early deadline on June 29th, 2023, to take advantage of the lowest entry fees.
