The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) has announced the appointment of Shawn Jiang Xiaofeng, Founder and General Manager of China Advocate, as its new Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific. In this role, Shawn will spearhead efforts to strengthen PRGN’s presence across key markets in the region, including Australia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Taiwan.

Shawn brings over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, communications, and crisis management throughout Asia. As the Founder of China Advocate, he has worked with high-profile clients such as LinkedIn, Boston Scientific, Thermo Fisher, and ByteDance. His expertise extends across multiple industries, reflecting his ability to navigate complex communications challenges and drive impactful results.

Before establishing China Advocate in 2018, Shawn served as Chief Marketing Officer for a Chinese biotech company and held senior positions at leading global agencies, including Weber Shandwick and Ogilvy, where he managed public affairs and corporate communications.

Shawn succeeds Joanne Chan, who has held the position since October 2022. His leadership is expected to build on PRGN’s momentum in the Asia-Pacific region, fostering collaboration among member agencies and delivering enhanced value to clients.
