The annual London International Awards (LIA) have just announced their winners and finalists for the year, honoring a flock of creatives worldwide. Since its inception in 1986, it has risen as a celebration of innovation and a champion for revolutionaries in Tech, Advertising, Design, Production, Digital, and Music & Sound.

Any of the hundreds of brands and companies that have thrown their hat in the race can now access the LIA website to see if the illustrious juries have bestowed a trophy upon them and their productions.

Know The Esteemed Judges On This Year’s LIA Panel

The LIA judging system operates on the existence of a separate jury panel for each of the 27 categories, and each panel is headed by a Jury President. The LIA takes pride in the volume and quality of accomplishments that every individual juror has earned in their career, which is why they have put the utmost trust in the integrity of the process and the high standard they have come to expect from each contender.

No pre-judging rounds exist, but the jurors must be on-site to view and judge all entries, with the exception of works they have personally worked on, from the very first round of judging to the last statue discussions. All competitors can therefore be assured that each entry has been adjudicated fairly and thoroughly.

Afterwards, the Jury Presidents of each class must sign off on the list of Winners (Grands, Golds, Silvers, Bronzes) and Finalists.

The jury rooms are open to all attendees and guests, including the press, ensuring full transparency.

Because of the caliber of talent recruited to fulfill their mission of saluting the world’s most brilliant creators and their ideas, every winner comes away knowing they have done their industry proud, and they may walk among giants with their heads held high.

This year, for instance, Mastercard and Solar Impulse both took the Grands under the Creativity in PR category through the vigorous dialogue held by its jury and the watchful eye of its Jury President, Judy John, Global Chief Creative Officer of Edelman.

Other Presidents include Chris Garbutt, CCO of VICE Media Group, for the Digital and Use of Social Media and Influencers category; Daniel Fisher, Global Executive Creative Director of Ogilvy, for the Online Film and TV/Cinema category; Jimmy Smith, CEO of Amusement Park Entertainment, for the Branded Content and Entertainment category; and more to mention.
