Prime Video APAC and Amazon MGM Studios have announced the promotion of Ananta Das to Head of Brand PR for the Asia Pacific region.<\/p>\n

Ananta Das, who has been with Amazon for over six years, previously served as Brand Lead \u2013 PR, where she helped shape the company\u2019s public relations strategy. Her promotion to this key leadership position comes as Prime Video expands its regional footprint, launching and promoting popular original series.<\/p>\n

Das shared her excitement about her new role and wrote on LinkedIn, \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to embark on this new chapter as Head of Brand PR for Prime Video APAC. With over six years of experience, I\u2019m eager to contribute to the company\u2019s continued success.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her new role, Das will be responsible for leading the brand\u2019s PR strategy, driving awareness and engagement for Prime Video\u2019s original content, and proactively addressing industry and regulatory challenges, including censorship. Her extensive background in brand and corporate public relations, coupled with her deep understanding of the APAC market, positions her to effectively navigate the complexities of the region and elevate Prime Video\u2019s brand visibility.<\/p>\n

Before her tenure at Amazon, Das held significant roles in PR and communications at Johnson & Johnson, Tata Global Beverages, Colgate-Palmolive, and Mondelez International. Her broad experience across various industries has equipped her with a unique perspective and a proven track record of executing successful PR campaigns.<\/p>\n
