The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) announced the call for entries for its 7th Annual Global Corporate Sustainability Award (GCSA). Aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the GCSA aims to recognize enterprises and organizations that have made significant contributions to achieving these goals.
Since its inception in 2018, the GCSA has been committed to raising awareness of sustainability principles and practices, acknowledging the efforts of all sectors toward sustainable development. The GCSA serves as a platform to reach world standards in corporate sustainability, addressing multifaceted sustainability issues, and fostering global corporate attention to corporate social responsibility and sustainability issues.
By inviting professional international judges to thoroughly examine participants’ effectiveness in sustainability practices, the GCSA acts as a comprehensive diagnostic tool for corporate sustainability check-ups. This initiative builds bridges between Taiwan and the international community, showcasing a collective commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.
Award Categories:
Outstanding Professional Award: Recognizing individuals who have driven sustainable development within their organizations.
Sustainability Reporting Award: Acknowledging organizations for disclosing transparent and credible sustainability information. Evaluation criteria include alignment with international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Integrated Reporting (IR), or the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).
Best Practice Award: Celebrating outstanding achievements in sustainability practices. Entrants can submit multiple case studies without restrictions on duration, project progress, or focused issues, though highlighting case outcomes is recommended.

The GCSA ceremony will be held at The Grand Hotel Taipei in conjunction with the largest global sustainability forum in Asia. This grand event will witness the radiant manifestation of corporate social responsibility, celebrating sustainable development.
A new website will be launched for the registration and application for the 2024 GCSA. The update aims to provide candidates with an optimized experience and an announcement will be made as soon as the website is ready.
