The Festival of Media Awards, renowned for celebrating media and marketing excellence for over 17 years, has reached new heights. This year’s hybrid ceremony, hosted at Havas’ London headquarters, marked a significant milestone as it featured a live component for the first time since 2019. The event recognized and celebrated outstanding achievements in the media sector.

The Festival of Media Global Awards has established itself as one of the most prestigious award portfolios in the world, amplifying key insights and setting benchmarks for the industry. Entrants, shortlisted participants, and trophy winners have consistently reported substantial business growth, enhanced company culture, and increased appeal to top talent through their association with these prestigious programs.

This year’s best-performing agency networks included EssenceMediacom, Mindshare, PHD Worldwide, Wavemaker, and Initiative. The coveted Grand Prix for Campaign of the Year was awarded to “I don’t remember” by Havas Argentina. Agency of the Year was claimed by EssenceMediacom UK, while EssenceMediacom continued to shine, securing the Grand Prix for Agency Network of the Year.

Highlighting the global reach of the awards, the countries with the most awarded campaigns included the United Kingdom, India, the United States of America, Canada, and Germany. Some of the most awarded campaigns of the night included “I don’t remember,” “Thumbstopping Beauty Biases,” “Empty Tables,” “Dove Toxic Influence,” and “eBay x ITV Love Island Partnership (Pre-Loved Fashion Partner).”

The top-performing sectors recognized this year encompassed FMCG, Third Sector, Retail, and Entertainment. In the realm of brands, the top five with the most trophies were Dove, eBay, Asociacion Lucha Contra el Mal de Alzheimer, Tesco, and Budapest Pride.

Jeremy King, CEO of Festival of Media, expressed his enthusiasm for the entries received this year, stating, “From the entries we have received this year, it is clear the industry is doing more to be inclusive, help make the world a better place, and engage in practices designed to produce better media, which is very encouraging. There is still a long way to go, but these entries give lots of hope.”

The quality of work displayed at the Festival of Media Global Awards was outstanding, with multiple categories featuring three gold trophy winners, an unprecedented achievement in the history of the awards.
