Telecommunications company Ericsson has announced the appointment of Shraddha Bhuyan as the new Head of Communications for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). Bhuyan steps into the role previously held by Daina Fahey, who is currently on maternity leave.

Bhuyan brings extensive experience to the role, having recently served as Global Senior Marcomms Manager for North America and ANZ at NACON, a key player in the gaming industry. Prior to her work in the gaming sector, Bhuyan spent significant time on the agency side, most notably focusing on technology clients at Archetype.

As the industry continues to advance with 5G deployment and digital transformation, Bhuyan’s leadership in communications will play a critical role in supporting Ericsson’s initiatives and market positioning.
