Campaign Asia-Pacific’s prestigious Agency of the Year Awards 2024 is officially open for entries. Advertising agencies and brand owners across the APAC regions—Southeast Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Greater China, Japan/Korea, and South Asia—are invited to participate.

These awards celebrate outstanding achievements in media, advertising, creative, digital, PR, independent, specialist agencies, and brand communications throughout the region.

Shortlisted nominees will be announced on November 15, with the winners revealed at in-person ceremonies in December in Mumbai, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Singapore. The 2024 awards feature 290 categories across six regions.

New Categories: Campaign has introduced three new categories for each sub-region. For the Agencies category, the new additions are Corporate Social Responsibility Achievement and Out-of-Home Agency. In the Brand category, the new addition is Ad Campaign of the Year.

Existing Categories: The Asia-Pacific Best Culture category has been expanded to include more markets and agency brands, and it will be renamed Asia-Pacific Best Culture (Network). This category will now accept entries from multiple agency brands and regions, as well as entire agency groups or networks. Each subregion will still have a Best Culture category, which will only permit entries from single agency brands within a single market. This expansion allows agency networks like GroupM or Publicis Groupe to enter as a network covering multiple brands.

Point System: The point system for Asia-Pacific Agency Network categories will see slight adjustments for the India and Japan markets, while the rest will remain unchanged.

  • Early Bird Entry Deadline: Tuesday, 6 August 2024

Eligibility Period: Entries must pertain to achievements from October 1, 2023, to October 3, 2024. Submissions focusing on achievements outside this period will be disqualified. Campaign reserves the right to reject entries that do not align with the spirit of the awards.

Judging Process: The Southeast Asia Agency of the Year judging panel will consist of at least five client marketers, undergoing two rounds of judging. Initially, judges will independently review and score entries, with scores sent directly to the Process Integrity Partner for verification. In the final round, judges will convene to discuss shortlisted entries.

In categories with single or few entries, judges will decide unanimously whether to create a shortlist and/or award trophies. This could result in no shortlist or trophies being awarded in certain categories. All judges’ decisions are final, based on a rigorous scoring system, and no feedback or correspondence will be entertained regarding the results.
