Founded in August 1927 as the All Australian Women’s Basketball Association, Netball Australia has a long and storied history in the sport. As the national governing body for netball, Netball Australia plays a crucial role in the growth and development of the sport, which is now the largest team sport in the country, with over 1.2 million men, women, and children participating nationwide. Netball also holds the distinction of being the number one participation sport for Australian girls.

In her new role, Wallin will help Netball Australia continue its mission to connect with local communities, safeguard the sport’s reputation, and empower women to excel both on and off the court.
