Celebrating creativity in the entertainment business, Clio Entertainment, known as the prestigious award-giving body, revealed the 2024 Grand, “Of the Year” and Specialty award winners.
The award-giving body continued to recognize exceptional expertise in marketing and communications across film, television, live entertainment, and gaming as it acknowledged various entries for this year’s award ceremony.
The ‘WoMen’s Football’ from Orange, along with Mattel’s promotions for Barbie, ‘Where to Settle’ by Mastercard, and Microsoft’s ‘ADLaM,’ earned numerous awards at the Clio Awards ceremony.
Marcel clinched four top honors for its deepfake videos showcasing the talents of female soccer players.
McCann’s branches in Poland and New York were honored with a duo of prestigious awards each for their groundbreaking Mastercard initiative, aimed at assisting Ukrainians in navigating Polish cities for job and housing opportunities.
McCann N.Y. also secured two awards for its innovative Microsoft campaign, which preserved an African language from disappearing through digitization.
Mattel garnered two awards for its extensive marketing efforts and numerous collaborations, totaling over 165, in relation to the Barbie movie.
Additionally, special awards that were divided into categories were also given:
- Agency of the Year: Publicis Conseil
- Advertiser of the Year: Michelob ULTRA
- Independent Agency of the Year: Rethink Canada
- Network of the Year: Ogilvy
- Production Company of the Year: Prodigious France
Susan Credle, who serves as the global chair of FCB and creative advisor to IPG, was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, while astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson was presented with an honorary Clio.
